Bidding Rules
No Prequalification Necessary. All Bidders Welcome!
-
Bids may be left at any level, at any time prior to 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
-
No one can enter the bidding after 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening
-
Your initial bid can be any amount. Placing a bid allows you to enter the bidding pool. By becoming a bidder, you agree to the terms of sale.
-
The bidding will be open. We will tell anyone the status of the bids at any time.
-
The home will be sold to the highest bidder acceptable to seller in round-robin bidding starting Sunday night, no later than 6:00 p.m. The bidding will be done by phoning you at your preferred number (home, office or cell), and no one will be at the property during the bidding process.
-
The highest bidder on the initial bid sheet will be called first and have the opportunity to make the first bid when the final round-robin bidding begins. The next highest bidder will get the second call, and so on down the list.
-
If there is more than one bid at the same level, the earliest bid will be called first.
-
Every bidder will have the opportunity to top the high bid until the highest bidder is established.
-
During the round-robin bidding, bids must be at least $5,000 apart.
-
Your bid is non-binding, and you may withdraw it at any time.
NOTE: We prefer that all bidders not place a bid until they have first seen our home on October 11th or 12th. If you are unable to come in person and would like to send a representative to bid or to bid over the phone, please contact us at (843) 886-4217.
